This non-fiction work proposes the provocatively engaging and innovative theory that the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius and the Second Law of Thermodynamics can serve as a road map to show us how we can all evolve and produce, efficiently and ethically, to our maximum capacity as individuals. Using the lens of these time-tested works, the author suggests that the juxtaposition of these two apparently unrelated concepts from the past can likewise inform the larger issues of politics, economics, arts, sports, and business today.
